Madison's pick - gift to dance teacher

Madison asked me to make Ms. Laurie, her dance teacher, something.  I told her to pick something out of the box that she wanted to give her and she choose a "flour sack".  I'm not sure what you do with these - they are too big to use as dish towel and slightly smaller than a receiving blanket - maybe good for cleaning??


Anyway, that's what she picked so we made it work!  And guess what - it was the 1st thing made in the new "Julie's Corner"

It's not the best or the biggest but it's perfect for now!  Right outside my kitchen and the windows on the left open to my living room - I can "be with the family" while working hard!

I must apologize;  I have so much going on right now that I don't have time to blog!


Hopefully "Julie's Corner" will be complete soon and I can focus on my sewing again.  Until then, please keep checking back - have no fear, the ideas are still flowing and I can't wait to share them!!
